Class topics will include "Comparison Between Period and Modern Brewing Techniques", "Traps and Pitfalls in Reproducing Period Recipes", and related topic on fare and potables. Those wishing to share their knowledge should contact Baron Sean for scheduling.
All brewers are asked to bring copies of some of their own recipes for inclusion into the First East Kingdom Brewers' Handbook. We also ask that you bring samples of your best in all categories for sampling. Since we are making this request, we urge all participants to plan on staying overnight for safety reasons.
Your chef for the event is Baron Master Ian Mitchell of Clan Mitchell from Østgarðr. Special dietary requests must be made in writing with your reservations by Nov 20; please include your day and night time telephone numbers, as our chef may wish to confer with you.
The site opens at 6pm Friday evening and closes Sunday at 1pm. The cost for this weekend is $23. The event is limited to 50 participants (advanced reservations are greatly appreciated., as this event sells out exceedingly fast). The first 30 have a choice of bunks. 10 more have crash space.
