Agincourt Memorial Tournament and Masked Ball
October 31, 1998
The Viceroy and Vicereine of the Crown Province of Ostgardr invite you
to the attend the Agincourt Memorial Tournament and Masked Ball to be
held on the 31st day of October . The site is the same as in prior
years, the Unitarian Fellowship of Huntington,109 Browns Road,
Huntington, NY.
The day will feature a heavy weapon double elimination tournament as
well as other heavy weapon and archery competitions. There will be
prizes for the best crest and for the best accoutrements in addition to
the prizes for the winners.
For those less martially inclined, there will be dance instruction and a
maskmaking workshop for all ages led by members of the Dabblers' Guild.
Merchants are welcome, but are limited to a single table space and must
preregister with the autocrat.
A simple feast prepared under the direction of
Baron Ian of Clan Mitchell
will be served at 5PM. Contact Ian at 718-767-0757 before 10 PM
regarding dietary questions. The site is damp. (Wine, beer and mead
only).
Court will follow the feast at 6:30 PM and will feature the inauguration
of the Order of the Sea Dog.
The evening will be given over to the masked ball. There will be prizes
for the best adult's and best child's mask. There will also be a prize
for the most extraordinary period costume. (No modern costumes please)
The site opens at 10AM. Armor inspection begins at 11AM and the
tournament will commence at noon.
All gentles on site after 10PM have volunteered for the clean up crew.

Onboard $12; ;Outboard $3. Children under the age of
twelve are $6 on board and free outboard. Make checks payable to SCA,

Directions
BY CAR:
Best route (LIE or Northern State) to Route 110 North. North on 110
through Huntington Station and through Huntington to the Intersection
with Mill Dam Road.(It is a traffic light with a boulder on an island to
the left.)Left onto Mill Dam Road. At the T make a right onto West Shore
Drive. Continue along with the bay on your right. When the road turns
uphill to the left it becomes Browns Road. The Church is on the right,
about 1/2 mile from the water.
By Public:
LIRR Port Jefferson Branch to Huntington Station. Take a cab to the
site. Remember the last train back is at 11PM.
