Brew U IV

Brew U. IV

The "Baron of Brew" invites all to join him for the Fourth East Kingdom Brewers' Collegium at the rustic Blue Mountain Trail Lodge, 435 Welcher Ave., Peekskill, NY on Dec. 13-15. Class topics will include "Comparison Between Period and Modern Brewing Techniques", "Traps and Pitfalls in Reproducing Period Recipes", "Inter-relation between Food and Beverages", and more. All brewers are asked to bring copies of some of their own recipes for inclusion into the First East Kingdom Brewers' Handbook. We also ask that you bring samples of your best in all categories for sampling; therefore, we urge all participants to plan on staying over night for safety reasons.

Special dietary considerations must be requested in writing with your reservation by Dec. 1; please include your day and night time telephone numbers so that the chef, Lady Morgaine, can contact you.

The cost for this weekend is $18. Please make checks payable to "SCA, Inc. - Northpass" and send a SASE and intended arrival time to the autocrat: Ken Slahor, 50 Tenth St., Locust Valley, NY 11560, 516-674-0225. Please use mundane name only on envelope.

The event is limited to 50 participants (advanced reservations are greatly appreciated). The first 30 have choice of bunks. 10 additional have crash space.
