Our acclaimed "Baron of Brew", Baron Sean de Londres, "Baron Brew Much", invites all who hunger and thirst for knowledge about the ancient and noble arts of Brewing and Cooking to join him for the Fourth East Kingdom Brewers' Collegium at the rustic Blue Mountain Trail Lodge located at 435 Welcher Ave., Peekskill, NY on December 5-7.

Class topics will include "Comparison Between Period and Modern Brewing Techniques", "Traps and Pitfalls in Reproducing Period Recipes", and related topic on fare and potables. Those wishing to share their knowledge should contact Baron Sean for scheduling.

All brewers are asked to bring copies of some of their own recipes for inclusion into the First East Kingdom Brewers' Handbook. We also ask that you bring samples of your best in all categories for sampling. Since we are making this request, we urge all participants to plan on staying overnight for safety reasons.

Your chef for the event is Baron Master Ian Mitchell of Clan Mitchell from Østgarðr. Special dietary requests must be made in writing with your reservations by Nov 20; please include your day and night time telephone numbers, as our chef may wish to confer with you.

The site opens at 6pm Friday evening and closes Sunday at 1pm. The cost for this weekend is $23. Please make checks payable to SCA, Inc. - Northpass and send it with a SASE and intended arrival time (Friday night, Saturday for Breakfast (before 9:30am), etc.) to the troll: Ken Slahor, 50 Tenth St., Locust Valley, NY 11560, 516-674-0225. Please use mundane name only on envelope.

The event is limited to 50 participants (advanced reservations are greatly appreciated., as this event sells out exceedingly fast). The first 30 have a choice of bunks. 10 more have crash space.

From Eastern Westchester and Western Connecticut:
Best route to Route 35 to Route 202, to Bear Mountain Extension, to Route 9 South, to Peekskill's Welcher Ave. exit. At light, make left, go up hill and straight into Park entrance.
From the Southern Westchester and Points South (NYC):
Best route to Saw Mill River Parkway North, to Taconic State Parkway, to Route 9A North, to 9 North, to Welcher Ave. Exit. Make right, go up hill and straight into Park entrance.
