Celtic Silliness in Østgarðr

Celtic Silliness

Mar. 15, 1997

After last year's incognito Silliness, the Crown Province of Østgarðr is plucking the noseglasses from her annual Celtic extravaganza! A mere three months after Brew U., the fighters of Østgarðr are still caught up in their pangs. Invaders have crossed our borders to capture the legendary Brown Bull of Mitchell. Come to Celtic Silliness, March 15th, 1997 at the Universalist Unitarian Fellowship of Huntington (109 Browns Rd. Huntington, NY), and help repulse them, or at least drive them off! Help our bards compose the ending of the thrilling epic, "The Tain Bo Mitchell".
Site opens at 11 A.M. with armor and weapons inspection at 1 P.M. and melee begining at 2pm. Site will close at 10 pm. If you're still there, thanks for helping clean up! In keeping with the theme, there will be a Celtic inspired melee. Dancing and other diversions will be available in the main hall. Merchants must pre-register with the autocrat (first 5 only, blanket merchants are welcome but must pre-register also), and be packed up by 5pm.
The feast of several removes is being headed by Gideanus Tacitus Adamantius. During the feast, there will be an auction of goods and services in aid of the Østgarðrian land fund. For those wishing to donate goods and services, please contact the autocrat. Those who would entertain during the feast will please register with Lady Anabel Ravaya de Guzman
Prices are $10 for on-board adults, children under 12 are $5 onboard, and babes in arms are free, day trippers fee is $3. Make checks payable to "SCA Inc., - Østgarðr", and send to the autocrat, Lord Ateño of Annun Ridge If you wish confirmation, please enclose a SAS postcard. Please contact the autocrat with any dietary concerns, and please have all reservations in by March 8th, 1997.
