In honor of the twentieth successive Celtic Silliness,
the Crown Province of Østgarðr welcomes back the event's
creator and original autocrat, Countess Aidan (Helen Pinto), as chef and
artistic consultant. (Hey, silliness is an art form, isn't it?)
Directions:
- By car:
Take your best route to Route 110 North (off both the L.I.E. and
the Grand Central Parkway). Go North on Route 110 through Huntington
Station to its intersectionwith Mill Dam Road (it's a traffic light with a
large boulder on the island on the left. Jeff's Seafood is on the right).
Make a left at this intersection. Proceed to a T-intersection (West
Shore Road). Make a right, keeping the water on your right continue
along West Shore Road. As the road veers away from the water it becomes
Browns Road. Follow the road up the hill. The site is 1/2 mile on the
right.
- By train:
Take the Long Island Railroad, Port Jefferson Branch to
Huntington Station, and take a cab to the site (Approx. $5 fare), or
pre-arrange pickup. The last train home is 11:00 pm.
