Merry Moose Tavern

February 27-28, 1999

Peekskill, NY (Northpass)

Long and cold is the winter outside but within our cheerful hall at the Merry Moose tavern there will be fun and frolicking and good company. Cold dark times make for strange bedfellows. The Households of The Dawn Moose Guard, de Londres and the Canton of Northpass have joined forces in a conspiracy to foment good times. We make most welcome bards, storytellers and other performers of the arts. Master Richard the Poor of Ely is making arrangements for diverse distractions and games for the day, a pleasant day board will be provided. We'll look forward to good company by the fireplace, and welcome stories new and old, be they told, sung or placed to music. The tone of the tavern this year is pleasant good company with a small touch of rowdiness. Those of a more adventurous spirit may stay the night and let our wenches serve you a hearty feast before a roaring fire.

The site (Blue Mountain Travel Lodge In Peekskill, N.Y.) opens Sat Feb 27 at 11am and closes on Sunday the 28th at Noon and is damp. Anyone remaining on the site after Sunday noon has graciously volunteered to help the proprietors and wenches clean up. Fees for this restful but enjoyable weekend are as follows:
