Sated Sultan will be Jan. 20; see page 6.

Rogues' Tavern Revel will be Feb. 17; see page 8.

Celtic Silliness will be March 17. Theme: "Come as you are not". Costume contest with various categories: general, historical figure, well-known SCAdian, children's. There will be 80 on-board places for a meat-lover's feast cooked by the Viceroy; reserve now at $12 on-board.

Northpass will hold The Riding of the Marches on June 1-3, and Barleycorn on Sept. 7-9.

Upcoming demos
Lions End is helping An Dubh with a Cub Scout demo on Feb. 4. There's a demo at C.W.Post campus on April 22, and the Huntington Renfaire on May 26-27.

Brekke is resigning as Seneschal Jan. 31, 2002; needs to train a replacement.

We still don't have an indoor winter fighting site; if anybody has a lead on one, call Luigj.
Viceroy
An Dubh's new Seneschal is Lord Petrus, and the Baron & Baroness of An Dubh are stepping down in a year. Rusted Woodlands voted to stay a Shire. And Ed & Beth are buying a fixer-upper house in Orange County, NJ. Twelfth Night is Jan. 13, in day-trip range of Ostgardr; be there.
Seneschal
Stepping down as Seneschal Jan. 31, 2002; there are some candidate successors being trained, but always room for more. Would like to accomplish certain goals before stepping down; see this page. Coronation will be April 7 in Connecticut, $5 for the day or $10 with feast (children under 9 free). Spring Crown Tourney will probably be in Eisenthal. EKU in Iron Bog on March 3, and probably another one in Dragonship Haven some time this spring.
