Highlights from the Feb. 20 Commons
We were rear-ended on the way to the meeting; although nobody was hurt, we were befuddled enough to forget to take notes at the meeting.  So these will be only the highest of lights; our apologies.  The offices of Chatelaine, Historian, and Arts & Sciences are now or will soon become vacant; if you're interested in any of them, please contact the Viceroy, Vicereine, Seneschal, or the current office-holder.
Chronicler:  Keep those submissions coming....
Seneschal:  Andrea's first meeting as Seneschal; Sean will continue as Calendar Deputy.
Tired Tyger Tavern:  A flattering number of out-of-town folks expressed an interest in attending, but the event sold out.
Celtic Silliness:  Get those reservations in, folks!
Crown Tourney:  Don't forget to write award recommendation letters for deserving Ostgardrians; rumor has it that royalty will be there....

March Commons: 3/20, 8:00 PM at the home of Jessica McGinnis in Nassau County.
By car: Northern State Pkwy to exit 32 S (Post Ave./Westbury).  Right off ramp, then left at first light (almost immediately).  Right at 2nd stop sign onto School Street.  (Westbury Middle School is on your left.)  Cross RR tracks.
¥Count 3 blocks on your left (there's a cemetery on your right).  Left on Irving to the second block, park, and look for house 572 (the third house on your right).  Go through gate and ring doorbell; they live in the basement.
Public: LIRR to Westbury.  Down through tunnel to cemetery.  Left along Railroad Ave. to end.  Turn right and see ¥ above.
