Lists: working on a database of fighters. Allegre will be deputy MoL. Suzanne: Agincourt made profit for Provincial coffers. Gilded Pearl wants to hold its 1998 annual late-period event in Long Island; perhaps Valentine's? Lion's End: Geoffrey is running archery practices and editing a handbook for beginning archers. Vicereine: The (non-SCA) Christmas Revels are coming; Katherine has a flyer with dates, times, and prices. Viceroy: We're short on serving bowls, preferably woven-wood; keep your eyes open for deals. We're lending half of our serving gear to An Dubh for St. Andrew. Mitch Jr. will be in the Queen's Guard. Chronicler: working a lot of Saturdays, so would other people please write event chronicles and reports? Incidentally, does anybody know of a fenced area in Queens to run a greyhound? Regional Seneschal: January will be event-ful: Twelfth Night on the 4th, Curia on the 5th, a Schola in Settmour Swamp on the 11th, an Alsatian event on the 18th, and Bellringer's in Carillion on the 25th. Richard will step down shortly in favor of Caelan ap Llewellyn. Northpass: Seneschal elections and Brew U are coming in the next month. Provincial Seneschal: Valentine's will include a "don Juan" contest; should be fun. Ateno will run Celtic Silliness, with Gideanus cooking. Queens Farm site isn't ready for EKU so it'll be at Frosted Hills instead, in late March. Keep your eyes open for good EKU sites. Walk east up stairs or alley to Lefferts. Cross Lefferts at 5-way intersection and turn right, then first left and see ¥ By subway (and 10-minute walk): take E or F train to Union Turnpike. Follow signs to Q-10 bus, and avoid signs containing the word "north", to fruit stand. Right through passageway, then left onto Kew Gardens Ave. Right at 4th light onto Lefferts. Go 2 blocks, bear left at 5-way intersection, take next left, and see ¥ below. By bus : take the Q-10 to the intersection of Cuthbert and Lefferts. See ¥ By car: take van Wyck, Grand Central, etc. to Interboro Parkway. Exit onto Metropolitan eastbound. Left at 5th or 6th light onto Lefferts.
